Buffalo Investigation Becomes 2-Alarm Fire

ECFireWire.com - Buffalo Firefighters responded this evening to investigate an activated commercial alarm on Howard St. Engine 32 went on location investigating & further reported smoke in the building with the sprinkler system activated & requested the balance of the 1st alarm. B-43 reported smoke showing from the roof of a large warehouse & requested an additional 2 Engines & Truck to the scene. Ladder 2 reported fire showing from the 1-2 corner of the roof and B-56 requested the balance of the 2nd alarm. B-56 reported fire in a piece of machinery with extension into the cockloft. The fire was under control in 83 minutes.The cause is under investigation and damages are listed at $1.25 million.
