Police & witnesses say car was traveling west on Walden at a high rate of speed. lost control hit curb, went airborne then hit the light pole.
Car was destroyed and engine block was ejected from vehicle. PD pulled victim from burning vehicle. E-31 extinguished fire and assisted L14/R1 at the scene. ADI reported that victim survived with non-life threatening injuries and was transported to local hospital. AIU was on scene road was shut down for about 2 hrs. E-31 returned for a wash down to clear roadway of debris. Accident still under investigation.

Normally we sit at the Buffalo Train Terminal. which was about 1/2 mile away from this accident. Located at Memorial and Paderewski dr. This is where the heaviest concentration of fires in the city. Halfway in between E-3 & E-22's Qtrs
