Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0357 Hrs to investigate smoke in the area of Genesee St & Guilford St. A Rural Metro Supervisor was on location on Timon St reporting a structure fire. Ladder 6 went on location reporting fire showing from the rear of a 1 1/2 story dwelling. B-43 reported exposure problems on the #2 & #4 sides and requested additional equipment (E2, E31, & L5). B-56 requested the balance of the 2nd alarm & companies to respond on Pershing St to lay in 2 1/2 inch lines to protect the exposures. The fire was under control in 50 minutes. Damages are listed at $40,000 to the main fire building, $10,000 to the exposure at 54 Timon, & $5,000 to the exposure at 58 Timon St.
