Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon at 1553 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Bailey Ave across from Engine 23 quarters.
Engine 23 went on location with heavy fire in an auto repair shop with explosions and went to defensive operations. B-47 requested an additional 2 & 1 as a precaution & Engine 23 requested the balance of the 2nd alarm for multiple exposures involved. B-47 reported fire in the #4 exposure, #2 exposure fully involved, and the main fire building fully involved. B-56 requested an additional 2 & 1 (E21, E28, L15) to the scene. B-46, E4, E35, & L10 also responded as relief companies to the scene.
The fire was under control in 2 hours 24 minutes. Damages are listed at $365,000 total.
