Buffalo Firefighters responded this afternoon for a report of a structure fire on W Delavan Ave. Engine 19 went on location reporting heavy smoke showing from a 2 1/2 story dwelling. B-44 reported an exposure problem on the #4 side and requested additional equipment bringing Engine 2 & Ladder 2 to the scene. B-56 reported heavy fire on the 1st & 2nd floors & requested the balance of the 2nd alarm. B56 further reported the fire taking off and ordered an emergency evacuation of the building. The fire was under control in 64 minutes. the cause is under investigation and damages are listed at $85,000 to the main fire building & $25,000 to the exposure
