Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0312 Hrs for a report of a garage fire on Genesee St. Engine 22 went on location reporting a garage fully involved and requested the balance of the 1st alarm. B-43 reported extension into the rear of a large 4 unit 2 1/2 story vacant dwelling and requested an additional 2 Engines & 1 Truck to the scene. Ladder 15 reported possible extension to the attic and B-56 requested the balance of the 2nd alarm. The fire was under control in 30 minutes. Damages are listed at $20,000 to the garage, $50,000 to the dwelling, & $2,500 to the exposure at 2043 Genesee St.
