Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0446 Hrs to investigate smoke in the area on Pooley Pl. Engine 19 went on location with heavy fire showing from the front of a 2 1/2 story & requested the balance of the 1st alarm. B-44 reported fire through the roof of the vacant dwelling with exposure problems. B-56 ordered defensive operationg & requested additional equipment bringing Engines 36, 2, & Ladder 2 to the scene. The fire was under control in 64 minutes. The cause is under investigation and damages are listed at $50,000 to the main fire building, $30,000 to the #2 side exposure, & $20,000 to the #4 side exposure
