Engine 2/Truck 4 sent to investigate a residential fire alarm upon arrival has a working fire with heavy involvement on the 2nd floor and requests balance of Alarm. Crews hit most of the heavy fire down from the exterior, then make entry. B-44 reports fire extending into attic of a 3 story dwelling. B-56 requests extra 2&1 to scene for manpower due to size of dwelling and volume of clutter. Rescue 1 reports minimal extension into attic. Attic scuttle opened to vent roof.
