Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0124 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Gittere St. Engine 22 went on location with heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor of a 2 1/2 story dwelling with an exposure problem on the #2 side. B-43 reported the building vacant and ordered defensive operations. Two additional Engines (21 & 33) were requested for water supply. The fire was under control in 66 minutes. Damages are listed at $50,000 to the main fire building, $2,000 to the #4 side exposure, & $5,000 to the #2 side exposure.
