Engine 21 on scene with heavy fire showing from 2nd floor of a 2 story brick bldg. Crews make attempt at interior attack - Rescue 1 reports unable to make 2nd floor from front of bldg. B-56 pulls all crews out for Defensive attack due to limited access. Truck 6 sets up on #2 side & Truck 2 on #1 side for master stream operations. Rescue 1/Engine 21 crews recon into attic of front part of bldg and find fire running at the ridge. B-56 requests extra 2 & 2 to scene for manpower and water supply. Bldgs appeared to be separate but adjoined.
