Boston, Two-Alarm Fire Destroys Roxbury Home

wmsfirephoto1 - A two-alarm fire broke out at a home at 39 Wyoming St in Roxbury late Friday night. Fire could be seen shooting from the roof and the front of the house. Two firefighters were transported to the hospital for injuries sustained while battling the fire. One firefighter had to jump from the roof of the building down to the second floor porch when fire began coming from the roof. He suffered non-life threatening leg injury and laceration and was transported to Brigham and Women's hospital. Damage to the home is estimated to be around $500,000.
