Austin 2-Alarm Apartment Fire

Austin Fire Department with mutual aid from Jollyville Fire Department on structure fire off Anderson Mill. Anderson Oaks Apartments is across the street from Jollyville FD Station 1. JFD smelled the fire and had a visual as the page was sent out. Full involved apartment building with collapse. Posted March 5, 2010

Comment by Kathy Williams on March 8, 2010 at 10:27pm: Sometimes volunteer firefighters have flashing green lights on their vehicles, perhaps it is that? Although it does seem to be attached to the side of that building for some reason. What part of the apartment complex collapsed? It looks like a balcony or perhaps the canopy over the entrance door?
