Engines 4, 9, 8 (acting 6), truck 2 and Battalion 1 (Shott) are on the ticket. BN 1 arrives and transmits a "working fire" in a 3-story E/O/R with heavy fire on the second floor. Engine 4 stretches 2 lines. BN 1 transmits the second alarm as fire extends into the third floor.

Engines 10, 14, 12 (acting 13) and Air 1 come in on the 2nd alarm . BN 1 special-called for an additional truck. In all, 3 lines are operating. The fire extends into the cockloft and crews hold the fire in the original fire building and prevent it from spreading to exposure B. The building housed a restaurant on the first floor and apartments on the top floors. All the residents were accounted for.
