this was a good attack that worked they made the right call. There are too many older struckures out there that are so old that an attack like this could become a significant risk if they had been 10-20 minutes later it could have been disasterous and all men might have been killed from a collaps of the structure. you have to sizeup the situation and hope you made the  right decision you have to take safety in to consideration its a gamble we all take but if you make the wrong move and you lose any member of the department it may be something that you will have to live with the rest of your life.Im sure that the homeowner was glad that you were able to get it under control but know they will have to remove the structure it might have been better to have dont the attack from a different are rather than take a risk of collaps.
