On Wednesday April 13th at approximately 1715 Hours Mountaing Grove Fire Department was notified by Wri-Tex 911 that a report had been made of an Explosion and flames coming out of the roof at the Aggieville Plant located on Front Street. Mountain Grove Fire Department recieved mutual aid from Cabool, Hartville, Houston, Mansfield, Norwood, Northern Wright County and Skyline. Mountain Grove was on scene throught the night and continued battling the blaze into Thursday Afternoon.

On Friday April 15th Mountain Grove Fire Department had just finished up on a house fire that broke out around 0400 hours when at approximately 0800 hours they was notified to return to the Aggievill Plant and again battled the monster throughout the day and night. The wore out firemen were finally able to go home around 0700 hours on Saturday Morning.
