Not my video FETC- found it on the web and thought it was interesting....

I was thinking the same as you about the grass landing- when I first watched it, I was waiting for it to flip over.

I think foam may be an automatic thing- don't know. Seems like it's possibly one of those things that many do, becasue "that's what we've always done" or similar....

Why did you have them land on the grass? That tends to offer a greater chance of digging in and cartwheeling an aircraft. At the airport I work at in the US, this would have landed on the runway.
Incident command would have requested the pilot to land at the slowest airspeed possible before losing lift. We have had some aircraft only skid 75' after touchdown. This was a great landing though...

What was your thought on the dispensing foam automatically on arrival? Was there a fuel leak or is this your policy? The chance of hitting the pilot/passenger with an errant stream is of concern. Seen a few errant streams and one in "straight stream" coming from the right.
