Flashover Fire Demo - Idaho

The Nampa Fire Department promotes fire sprinkler systems to be installed in residences, as they can really make a difference, this video will show the difference on a residence with fire sprinklers to one without. This demonstration was provided by the Nampa Fire Department, Prevention Bureau.

Comment by lutan1 on April 20, 2008 at 4:47am: A good video showing the difference between sprinklered and non-sprinklered, however we still have a FF in inadequate PPE to be any where near a live fire scenario. The "firelighter" enters what is assumed to be a controlled environment with his jacket undone, no helmet and no proper pants on. We've also got a member not in any PPE assisting with the initial deconstruction work on the second scenario.

How many videos have we got on this site and others where supposed "safe" environments have gone bum up on them resulting in serious injuries????
