Safety Safety Safety. I cant imagine any department out there that would allow any member to get on a truck, let alone a fire scene without full PPE. I know in my department we would be out the door so quick you wouldn't be able to think about what you did wrong.

Everyone seems to notice the safety issue. You should inform all of your company members the dangers on not wearing PPE. All PPE. If anyone is killed or injured without EVERY piece on, it would be even more of a loss. Their family will likely NOT recieve any money set aside by the SAFER or HEREOS act that gives $250,000 in death benifits to the family, not to mention HUGE fines and a lot of heartache for your department.

SAD TO THINK THERE ARE STILL DEPARTMENTS OUT THERE THAT DON'T CARE ABOUT FIREFIGHTERS SAFETY.
