IL Firefighters fight to save Burning Fire House with Trucks Still inside! Leave a comment I'd like to know what you think. I'm not a firefighter but i can't believe these guy's how can they call themselves firemen? Glad I don't live in that town.

Comment by Ed on April 8, 2008 at 1:40pm: Not One Basic Principle of FireFighting was adhered to. A$$ Backwards Engine work, Non-existant Truck work. The Nozzleman on the 1st line had no PPE. However the member in full gear is only concerned about saving a rig. A rig that if they had Just put water on the fire possibly could have been saved. Id Tell That Department to go back to basics and stop making the volunteer fire service look like in-experienced yokels.

Comment by Keith Bradt SR on February 6, 2008 at 6:49pm: I can beleave it took 6 mnt for water.not just that 1 firemen was already inside the fire house.. got his gear but forgot the fire truck now in the mine time theres an engine company trying to get the truck in pump gear or was it he was looking for revers will i can see that fire men 1 didnt get his tow truck after all...... THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SLEEP DORING TRAINING ..HA..HA...HA STAY SAFE OUT THERE
