Fire struck the Monte Carlo Casino and Resort at around 2 p.m. ET. The three-alarm fire ravaged the 32-story building prompting for an immediate evacuation of guests. Although no major injuries were reported, estimates for costs of damage to the 90,000 square-foot property remain to be seen. Fire fighters extinguished the fire for more than an hour. Reports indicate that the probable cause of the fire might have something to do with the welders working on the building roof.
