Thanks for the comment. I did some research and the test is a UL 711 test, the material burning is called a Class 2 A Crib and is constructed of Douglas Fir. The moisture content of the material must be between 9% and 13% for the UL standard. The test is conducted three times to ensure consistency; this product extinguished the fires in less than a minute all three times. According to the UL standard after extinguishment the material is observed for 15 minutes for any rekindles. The product passed the UL standards all three times.
I think this stuff has a better knockdown capability than foam? Just my 2 cents…
