I would have to agree with David. They probably were not speeding. It is hard to judge the speed from the video.

Indicate a left with your signal and go right, smart move. According to the camera display, they were not running lights or sirens, they were just driving down the road. A dash cam will always display a code or lights and siren indication when the unit hits their lights and sirens. It doesn't look like they were speeding, but there are no posted speed limit signs on video. The vehicle indicated a left turn so it should be permissable to pass on the right. I just say the black vehicle just made the wrong move.
Yes i agree with DeMasi....and disagree with Kevin...I don't beleive the Ambulance was running code. I'm sure you would be able to see reflections from emergency lights. So i beleive fully that the Black SUV was in wrong, he did have his left blinker on. Plus everyone knows you are not suppose to turn from two lanes over. The Black SUV looked lost, and obvisouly one of those drivers that think they own the road.
If you look closely it doen't even look like they were running code. First the siren was not on and second there was no reflection of the emergency lights off the vehicle they hit. Yes, it looks like they were traveling too fast, but also it appears the other vehicle just flat out made a wrong move!
