They say there's 3 impacts during an accident-
1) The car hits an object
2) The occupant hits the car or other occupants
3) The internal organs move and impact on each other and other parts of the body.

that is so true. Had friends of my family get killed today due to stupidity. A truck driver missed his turn and done a U-turn on a 4 lane running over their car. But the truck driver will make a full recovery, now 2 22 year old died.
