A motorist barreling down Laurel Canyon during a driving rainstorm loses control and takes out a hydrant, causing some major damage to a multi-million dollar home in the Hollywood Hills. The excess water on the roof caused a partial collapse, and it took LAFD over an hour to find the shutoff for the hydrant, which was heavily pressurized. All of this during a strong rainstorm.
