OSHA requires that anyone who will be working on hazardous waste sites (including Brownfields) must take the 40-HOUR HazWOPER Health and Safety for Hazardous Waste Operations course. The full 40-hour course is for anyone who may have to work in "Level C" PPE or above. Students will be introduced to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and learn how to apply its requirements back at work. Emilcott uses lecture, field activities, group workshops and problem solving drills to cover course topics. The video shows the field drill where students apply classroom knowledge.
