2nd Alarm in South Whitehall Twp. PA

Lehigh County 9-1-1 alerted companies 3, 32 and 11 at 15:11 hours for a house fire at 2902 Reading Road. Chief 32 arrives and transmits a working fire and strikes the second-alarm. Companies 31 and 7 are brought in to help. Crews stretch in and make quick work of the fire. The house appears to be totally gutted and may have been burning un-attended for most of the day. Ladder's 3 and 31 were placed into service at the front of the building. The owner was not home at the time of the fire. Truckies opened up the roof to vent. Under Control was transmitted at 15:52.
