2nd Alarm House in Easton PA
At 0430 Easton City Fire was dispatched to 846 W. Wilkes-Barre St. on a report of a house fire with possible entrapment. Arriving fire crews found a 2 1/2 story S/F/D with heavy fire on the first floor. EMS 2081 had a 34/male outside with airway burns and transported him to the hospital.
Command transmitted a working fire and a call-out of a full platoon for help. Engine 24 from Wilson Borough was R.I.T. Multiple handlines were stretched and extensive overhaul operations were commenced due to the fire extending in the walls and roof area. Searches negative.
Under Control was transmitted about two hours later. The fire is under investigation.
