4 mile fire, this wound up being a sad experience, we lost a tanker plane in Utah they flew into a mountain due to fog. they where out of mazzula, MT. this was the first night, we arized in town about 4 that afternoon, didnt find the fire till about 1 am nobody flagged rout nor could they tell us how to get in,(initiall attack) 36,000 acres. we pretty much burned everything between Duncan, and Hope NM.
