2 firefighters injured in Cumberland, RI fire

Multiple calls came into the fire alarm office shortly after 4:30pm on Fri March 11, 2011 reporting a fully involved house fire on Iroquois Rd.

Upon arrival, the front of the house was fully involved with heavy fire throughout the interior as well.

After knocking down the heavy exterior fire, crews attempted to go inside when the ceiling fell on 2 firefighters, injuring both of them. Both firefighters were transported to local hospitals with unknown injuries. The attack then went exterior due to unsafe conditions.

It took almost an hour to bring the fire under control. Nobody was home at the time of the fire.

Ok, this guy in the wife-beater, which I'm VERY confident he has done that very thing, needs to be cooled off firefighter style. According to the YouTube comment on this video, this idiot was indeed arrested, thankfully. Yeah, he was an upset citizen presumably because of his house going up but that is absolutely NO excuse whatsoever for this fool to lay hands on a public servant. He kept his composure a lot better than I would have.
