2 alarm house fire in Walnutport PA
Lehigh County Fire Dispatch transmitted a house fire for Lincoln Ave and Oak Street in Walnutport around 13:00 hours. Companies 29, 24 and Lehigh Twp. 47 along with Palmerton 7 responded. Most companies were coming from the fire in -Washington Twp. Police arrive and report a fully involved house. Chief 29 and Ladder 29 arrive and find a 2-story S/F/D well-involved. Ladder 29 sets up the ladder and blitz to knock down the bulk of the fire. Crews then advance 3 handlines into the fire. The fire quickly spread throughout the house. A second-alarm was transmitted by Chief 29.
