Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I originally joined due to coming home from work one day and saw a vehicle accident. The vehicle looked familiar, and it hit me that it was my step-brother. He had lost control of my step-moms car and hit a 2 lane bridge. I couldn't do anything but then after the accident, I decided I wanted to help people in my community. I joined the volunteer fire dept. on April 1st 1991.
