My Training:: NC FFII, EMT-B, NC HazMat I, Rescue Systems I, NC Emergency Vehicle Driver, NIMS ICS 100,200,300,700,800. Graduated 2004 GTCC Firefighter Academy. Currently obtaining my FLSE III certificate.

About Me:: Originally started my career heading towards becoming a paramedic. I got my EMT-B certification and was well on my way. That got turned around when I received an offer to join the CVFD. I got bit by the fire bug and haven't looked back. I got a job on CFD and to this day it has been my life.

My current status with CF&R is Firefighter-II/EMT-B. I also serve as an assistant with the Fire Prevention Team. I am also the chaplain for our department.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: To help the people in my community and be an active part in saving lives.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: the satisfaction of being able to make a positive difference in other people's lives.
