Like I said up top. My EMS career began on a whim. Not a day goes by however that I am not thankful about the decision I made to take that firs class. I don't have a huge bio or a long list of initials behind my name as some do. I'm content to provide service in my current capacity. Nuf said.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

There was a class available so I signed up. No other reason but, I can't imagine doing anything else now.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I'm probably not unlike anyone else in that my favorite thing is making a difference in the lives of the people that call on us in a moment of need.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

There are some that say people like me are an issue. I choose to get up everyday and provide the best care I can to the people I serve. I do not however involve myself in the politics of our chosen profession. I appreciate those that stand before our local, state and national governments to bring EMS issues to the table. Being a Medic is enough for me.
