Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My family came from Ireland several generations back, one of them was a charter member of the town's FD, and we have been firefighters ever since.

apathy from within towards safety issues-- despite all of the LODDs all over the country, we continue to be our own worst enemy, from PPE to Incident Command issues.
