Why I Joined Fire/EMS
After being discharged from the US Army in 1966 I took a firefighter job at a military instillation near Stockton, CA. I took the job with the idea that the firefighter job would do fine until I could find a "Real Job". I retired from Alameda Co. CA in 1987. Guess I did have a real job.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
At the end of a shift, The pride of accomplishment.
