Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My father retired out of this department after 20 years of service with the rank of Captain. He was my inspiration to be as active as possible with the fire service, but never once did he pressure me. He never told me how to fight fire, but said you will learn it on your own, and if you have questions ask me. Coming into this I knew i had a huge extended family. I had alot of pressure to do well as my father did. But i made my own footsteps, got picked on twice as hard, but it made me stronger and the man/firemen I am today. The best job I could ever have, and its not even like work, its truly a good time.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Brotherhood and Adrenaline
Top Issues Facing Responders:
New and changing technology with vehicles. Hazardous Material expansion.
