Firefighter family needs your help and prayers
A very special family in our community is in need of help. Jason Cordle is a Captain at Sagle Fire. He and his wife, Kristine just found out that their son, Tyler, who is 13 months old has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer. There are only 650 diagnosed cases of this type of cancer a year in the United States. This cancer develops from nerve cells in several areas of the body. Tyler has tumors in many areas, including his abdomen, head, right lung, right leg and his bone marrow. Because these tumors have spread throughout his body he is already a High Risk, Stage 4 case. Tyler is going to require extensive medical treatment. He will undergo 6 rounds of chemotherapy followed by surgery. The Cordle family will travel to Seattle Children's Hospital for approximately 4 months where Tyler will receive a bone marrow transplant followed by radiation. He will then require immune system therapy.
As a Captain for the Sagle Fire department, Jason has put his life at risk every day of his career to help protect and save families in our community. He has saved many lives and never thinks twice when it comes to rescuing people. We hope the community will embrace this family, just as Jason does every day in his job.
We are planning a spaghetti feed and silent auction for January 24th as well as raising money and donations for the family.
For more information about Tyler visit Tylers Blog at http://www.tytysstory.com
If, as we hope, your would like to help with a donation or something else, contact Firefighter Reeves at Sagle Fire, 208-263-9541.
Please keep little Tyler and the entire Cordle family in yuor hearts and prayers.
