Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I have friends that were in the fire services + my parents were both part of the local Dept. in their younger yrs. and my mother was the first woman on the ogallala fire dept.!`````

Why I Love Fire/EMS

The thing I like most about being a firefighter is people that look up to you every day. And wakeing up when the pager tones sound, and racing to the Fire Hall & helping the people that need our help, and helping the older firefighters get ready to go to the dangerous calls that we can't respond to.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Lack of funding and support, lack of respect for the Fire Dept. rules. and all the new pordicals that they shove down the fire depts throat!
