Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I grew up only a few blocks away from a fire station - always was hanging around there, interested in what was going on. Whenever I heard the sirens, would stop what I was doing and look out the window or out my backyard. My sister married a firefighter when I was 15, and he encouraged me to join the field. Life took a different direction for me after graduating highschool, but after family obligations were met, I was finally able to fulfill my lifelong dream and became a firefighter.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Its the most rewarding job in the world.
