My Training:

NYS Basic EMT, FFI, FFII, Fire Officer II, Fire Instructor I, numerous other fire courses. I also have an Associates Degree in Fire Science from Corning Community College, NY.

About Me:

I started out in a volunteer fire department outside of Raleigh, NC.(1989-1992) I joined the US Army as a firefighter in 1992 and was stationed at Ft. Drum NY.(1992-1996) I served over 7 years with the Calcium FD, NY and served in several officer positions up to 1st Assistant Chief.(1992-2000) I was a paid call firefighter with Oneonta FD, NY for 6 months.(2001)I worked for Stewart Air Base FD for 3 months(2001-2002) I was hired with the City of Watertown NY Fire Department in Feb. 2002 and will finish my career here. I am currently a firefighter with Engine Co. 2 on A platoon.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I always wanted to be a firefighter growing up. The desire goes all the way back as far as I can remember. I remember wanting to be a firefighter when I was 4. It is the greatest job in the world.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

It is the greatest job. Truely satisfying to help someone in need.
