Why I Joined Fire/EMS
To follow a Family tradition, since I grew up in it.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Knowing that I can hopefully make an Impact in someone life.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
To many different varieties of training when it comes to the same course. 50 states, 50 variations. I think all states need to come together and implement a nationwide standard for all fire courses. This way everyone learns the same course, so if someone moves to a new state, all their certs are transferable. Another thing is that the the price of TOG, SCBA, GApparatus & Equipment are goin g up, but financial help is getting smaller making it harder for Volunteer Departments
