About Me:
Born and raised in Shreveport, LA...currently living and working 1 hour south in Natchitoches. Been with the FD for just around 7 months. We currently house 3 stations, man 3 pumps, 1 ladder, 1 light rescue, 2 chief vehicles, and Safety Officer vehicle. I actually work 48 hours and get 24 hours off. My second job is also a 24 hour shift. Leaves little time to do things, but thats the nature of the business!!
I love helping people. I feel this is the best way to give back to the community. I also saw paramedics, flight medics, firefighters in action as a child first hand. The way they worked at trying to revive my father made me want to work hard to save someone too. They didnt succeed but they showed compassion and a true desire to do everything they could.
