Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I'm a 4th generation firefighter learning to be the best a job that I've had a passion about for years. Being a firefighter is something that I've grown up with, and put my heart into training for. I'm 7 classes away from being a certified interior attack fighter, and I hope to begin EMT training this fall. My dream was always to be a professional firefighter, but I'm getting a late start on that. For now, I'm working towards being a Paramedic. I've also applied for the Erie County Haz Mat Team as well.
