Corvallis Fire Department- 1998 to 2000 - Explorer Post Founding Member - Was Basic EMT certified but expired long time ago- I went on ride alongs and participated in several full Turnout/SCBA burn to learn and rescue scenarios.

About Me:

Well, I just won the Central Oregon Dirty Jobs Contest in Bend Oregon. I proved that I had the dirtiest job in Central Oregon. I won a weekend gift package to Inn at the Spanish Head Hotel in Lincoln City Oregon. I used it that weekend believe it or not! It was GREAT! (Well deserved after my bout with poison oak in CA earlier last year)

I fight wildfire because I don't have to deal with the medical aspect of the fire biz. I know it (fire/med) pays better but to me, that is not was makes a man rich.

Waking up every day knowing that you would do the job for free if you had to! Thats a job you love. Thats a job that makes you wealthy in a whole different way.

Day Job:

Avid snowboarder, firefighter, fisherman, pontoon whitewater boating, and chasin' ladies!
