Why I Joined Fire/EMS
It was a calling I had my entire life.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I have always wanted and liked to help people. When i was young my Unvle was a Fire Capt in Sanford NC and he told me that there was nothing stronger than the heart of a Volunteer and none any braver than a Volunteer FF. Greater love hath no man than this, that he would lay down his life for his friend.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
The lack of concern for life and safety of the men and women that are called in the time of need. And FF safety in general. The one that is most angering to me is that policy tries to put a price on a life.
