Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined the Fire Department for a couple of reasons, I didn't join because of the flashing lights or to get girls or be on TV or any of that shit. I joined because I wanted to be just like my Father, who has been in for 30 something years, it is a big family tradition and I come from a long line of Emergency Services, and besides all of that, I also like helping people, being able to help someone on their worst day.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Low Morale, increased violence, PTSD, Addiction to Alcohol/Drugs, low manpower.
