Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I have always wanted to be a fireman even when I was in kindergarten. And I also have a uncle in MD that has been a fireman for 30yrs or more and I always looked up to him and wanted to do what he did. And the main reason is because I love helping people that are in trouble!!!!

Why I Love Fire/EMS

getting dressed out and running in the burning house while everybody else is running out!!

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Power strugles everybody wants to be cheif and nobody wants to be a grunt anymore I think everybody forgets that you have to start from the bottom and work your way to the top. And of course districts nobody wants help or wants you to run a call in their district anymore like they are the best there is and they already know it all already.
