Why I Joined Fire/EMS

9-11 was one of the biggest reasons I joined the department. I grew up in the fire service I went on my first fire call when I was 5. My dad used to take me on a lot of calls. I loved it.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

the fact that i get to help ppl no matter what kinda call we get.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

We don't have a fire tax in our county so ppl don't understand what kinda time and effort it takes just to pay bills and keep updated equiptment. So we have many many fundraisers. We are at the firehouse more than we get to be with our families.
