I have worked in Law Enforcement, both in the jail and on the road, for 21 years. I am currently a Sergeant in a county jail (FT) and also work as a Deputy Sheriff (PT) as well as a Patrolman (PT). It sounds hectic, but it really is not

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Something that I had to do. I have always had a nagging feeling deep within to join the volunteer FD. It's good to give something back to the community. I'm affraid this country would not run as efficently if we did not have dedicated people to volunteer for their passions and beliefs!
