About Me:

Hey what’s up...? My name is David Wuis (either Wuiser or “D” & now Jr. for all the old timers around the Fire House) I’m from Kalamazoo Michigan. I originally went to Comstock High School where I played Baseball, Football, and Basketball. After High School I decided to go the baseball way and played college baseball @ Carthage College in Kenosha Wisconsin. I started @ catcher for four years…awesome 4 years where I met the greatest friends I could have ever asked for. I graduated with a communications and digital media degree last February and then moved back to Kalamazoo. I’m following after in my fathers footsteps and decided to become a fire fighter. So far the job is amazing…I've started the second part of my training @ the fire academy... then hopefully soon after graduation getting a job in a bigger city. I'm also the Strength coach for the Baseball team @ Comstock High School and Nationally known Travel Baseball team the Kalamazoo Maroons (est.1930). I’m an easy going guy most of the time but I do have that short fuse and temper when it comes down to it. I have the greatest family in the world and two kick ass parents…. Meeting new people is always a + especially if they like the same things as I do. Right now I’m working hard and looking to the future with High Hopes!
